Hey friends,
I hope you are all enjoying the end of summer and getting ready for the challenges and rewards of the coming school year.
I'm in Miami at my mom's house this week getting some r&r, pigging out, and watching way too much tv (currently am watching High School Musical 2 -- so I can be up on what the kids are watching).
Anyhoo, the blog is up and I'm excited for the possibilities ahead. I know it is going to be hard to coordinate a time for a 1st get together. I propose we try for a first face to face some time at the end of September. Maybe the week of the September 24th? In the meantime, we can post any announcements, pressing matters, comments, concerns... on the blog.
To be honest, this blogging thing is really over my head, so any ideas and advice you can contribute are appreciated.

This is my first ever attempt at blogging so I have no useful ideas -sorry! This is great. I can not wait till we get in our rooms and can put this to it good use. Thank You Melanie - You are awesome!
